HESC continues to offer a range of presentations and workshops to help students get up to speed on available financial aid options and to help them complete financial aid applications. Students can access program descriptions and registration information here.

The New York State Tuition Assistance Program (TAP) Application will open on November 1, 2023, for the 2024-25 academic year. Students do not need to wait for the FAFSA release in December to apply for TAP.

Students who will be attending college in the Fall of 2024 can jumpstart the NYS financial aid process by visiting This HESC NY Website for more information or on November 1 to complete the application.

West Point is located approximately 50 miles north of New York City in the picturesque Hudson Valley. We encourage all prospective cadets to visit the U.S. Military Academy at West Point to experience the historic campus and get a feel for cadet life.
