The Common Application (CA) is widely accepted by over 500 schools, and we highly recommend using it whenever possible. It becomes available each year on August 1st for the rising senior class. While you can work on the CA before this date, you'll need to "roll your information over" into the next school year starting August 1st. To check if your prospective school accepts the Common Application and create your account, visit www.commonapp.org. Keep in mind that many schools requiring the Common Application also have their own supplement, and you can easily find direct links to these supplements on the Common Application platform. Streamline your application process with this widely-used tool!

All CUNY schools accept the CUNY Application, with some also accepting the Common Application. The CUNY Application enables you to apply to multiple CUNY campuses in preferential order. After completing the application on their website, you must submit one 9x12 stamped addressed envelope to CUNY UAPC. The address can be found on their website and on Naviance.
When submitting SAT/ACT scores to CUNY, use code 2950 to send the scores to the CUNY Application Processing Center instead of individual CUNY schools.
