ERHS seniors get a jump on college applications at College Launch Academy

This week, the ERHS library has been buzzing with activity as our seniors get a head start on the college application process at the College Launch Academy, hosted by the ERHS counseling department. Introduced two years ago, the College Launch Academy is a free program for all rising seniors, designed to give students a head start on the application process before the school year begins.

With support from counseling staff and ERHS English teachers, students are organizing their college lists, filling out (and hopefully finishing!) the Common Application, and crafting their personal essays. One-on-one access to staff has been invaluable, giving students a real boost as they begin what can be a long and stressful application process.

This week-long initiative is designed not only to prepare students for the demanding application season but also to empower them to approach the process with greater confidence and less anxiety. It’s not too late to join – the College Launch Academy runs from 8:15 a.m. to 1:15 p.m. in the ERHS library through Friday. Click here for detailed information and registration details.
