Rhame Avenue Students Take Flight at TWA Museum

Ms. Schutta's World Cultures Group at Rhame Avenue Elementary School capped off the school year with a final international experience, traveling to the TWA Museum and Hotel at John F. Kennedy International Airport.
During the visit, students boarded the original TWA Constellation from the late 1950s and explored the museum's aviation history collection. The group also took in the rooftop experience, where they watched live runway activity and saw how international travel has evolved from the golden age of flight to today.
The trip offered a fitting conclusion to a year of exploring world cultures, connecting the past and present of international aviation, and perhaps inspiring some future pilots, ambassadors and logistics professionals along the way.
