East Rockaway Students Shine in eVoco Voice Collective Concert

Two East Rockaway High School seniors recently took the stage alongside professional musicians and music educators as part of a special choral collaboration.
Julia Mannino and Zoe Moore, both members of the high school's Senior Chorus, performed with the eVoco Voice Collective on Saturday, Nov. 9, at St. Francis de Chantal in Wantagh. The students were among a select group of young singers from across Long Island chosen to participate in the concert, titled A River Inside.
Julia and Zoe joined the ensemble for the concert's finale, performing Flight by Craig Carnelia – a fitting conclusion to an evening celebrating the power of vocal artistry.
The eVoco Voice Collective brings together accomplished musicians and music educators from throughout the region, including East Rockaway's own High School Choral Director, Seanna Silver. This ongoing partnership provides exceptional performance opportunities for talented student vocalists.
The performance represents the district's commitment to providing students with enriching musical experiences that extend beyond the classroom and showcase their talents on a professional stage.
