East Rockaway High School Celebrates Student Talent at Annual Arts Awards and Tri-M Induction

East Rockaway High School proudly celebrated the achievements of its student artists, musicians and performers during the annual Arts Awards and Tri-M Honor Society Induction Ceremony, held on Monday evening.
The event, hosted by Art Department Chair Mr. Peter Ceglio and supported by teachers across the visual and performing arts departments, recognized students for their outstanding accomplishments throughout the year. Honorees received certificates of achievement and a variety of scholarships, acknowledging their dedication, creativity and contributions to the school’s thriving arts community.
This year’s celebration was especially meaningful as East Rockaway High School marked its 12th consecutive year being named a Best Community for Music Education - an honor that underscores the district’s commitment to the arts.
The evening concluded with the induction of new and returning members into the Tri-M Music Honor Society, a prestigious organization that recognizes students for their academic and musical excellence, as well as their service to the community.
It was a night filled with talent, pride and inspiration, reflecting the vital role of arts education in shaping well-rounded, expressive and thoughtful students.
