June, 2010 Dear Grade 1/2 Parents:  The following supplies are requested in preparation for the first day of school: 

á       Book bag (NO BACKPACKS ON WHEELS)

á       One plastic supply box to fit inside desk

á       Two marble- hard covered composition notebooks (not spirals)

á       One soft 1-2 inch plastic binder

á       One pair scissors

á       Three boxes of Crayola crayons (boxes of 24)

á       Six glue sticks

á       Three packs of 3 x 5 index cards

á       Twelve #2 pencils (sharpened)

á       One 12 inch ruler

á       Four dry erase markers (Expo)

á       One pack of thin Crayola markers

á       Ziploc freezer bags (10 - quart size)

á       One box of tissues

á       One healthy snack each day

á       One sock for cleaning the dry erase boards

á       Sneakers for physical education classes

á       One oversized shirt for art

á       Headphones for computer lab

 

Your childÕs supplies may need to be refilled at times during the year.

 

Please note that line up is on the basketball courts on Rhame Avenue.  Students will be met by their teachers at 8:40 am.  PARENTS ARE REQUESTED TO LEAVE THE CHILDREN AND NOT ENTER THE BUILDING. Children are dismissed at 3:00 pm.
